What We Do
Coordination & Support
We serve as a strategic community partner, bringing stakeholders together to plan and coordinate prevention efforts in our towns, identify barriers and gaps in treatment and recovery services, and analyze information to recommend regional and state priorities. We convene regional meetings of the Local Prevention Councils, two Catchment Area Councils, the Southwest regional Suicide Advisory Board, and the Regional Gambling Awareness Team.
Education & Awareness
We help educate our communities and decision makers about behavioral health challenges and effective prevention, treatment, and recovery. Trainings & speakers, legislative advocacy, resource dissemination & more! We also provide free kits and training on how to administer Naloxone (Narcan) to revive someone from an opioid overdose.
Legislative Advocacy
We train community members to be advocates, provide legislative updates, and work actively to educate our law-makers about issues that matter and initiatives that help.
Naloxone (Narcan) Kits & Trainings
Through the Strategic Opioid Response grant, we can provide community members with free Narcan kits and training on the opioid epidemic, prevention of opioid misuse, and how to reverse an overdose. To schedule a training, please contact our co-director, Giovanna Mozzo.
