Supportiamo le comunità di Southwest CT nella prevenzione dell'abuso di sostanze e del suicidio e nella promozione del benessere mentale.
In CT, ogni comune ha un Consiglio Locale di Prevenzione (LPC) il cui obiettivo è sensibilizzare l'opinione pubblica sulla prevenzione di alcol, tabacco e altre droghe (ATOD) e stimolare lo sviluppo e l'attuazione di attività di prevenzione locale, con un focus primario sulla giovinezza. Molti si occupano anche di salute socio-emotiva, riconoscendo la forte relazione tra abuso di sostanze e disturbi della salute mentale.
Gli LPC sono coalizioni composto da portatori di interessi di 12 settori individuati . L'Hub supporta gli LPC attraverso il coordinamento regionale, l'assistenza tecnica e il finanziamento, comprese le recenti sovvenzioni per la risposta strategica agli oppioidi.
